Some theories as to what this could mean: It says “two through,” and there are two projects currently shared. If I had to assign those two projects to one of the 8 descriptive words listed, I’d assign MOTHER as desire or obsession and DISEASE as apathy. This is because in MOTHER, whatever’s calling out has an intense desire for its Mother to come back to it, and seems to be obsessed with ending its own suffering. I’m much more confident in DISEASE being related back to apathy though, because whatever’s talking there has an intense hatred for itself. It sees no real point in its existence, and loaths its own existence. Also in DISEASE it says, and I quote, “O, Father, why do you allow this? Why do you allow plague and famine? In your kingdom, does disease exist too? Is there disorder in paradise?” This imply’s that Father rules over a kingdom of some kind, and that it’s a paradise. This would also relate back to the emperor thing mentioned at the start of the cypher. Another thing to mention— In MOTHER, as implied by the final line (the one with the cautious “Mother..?”) and the thumbnail, it seems like Mother actually came back for her children. Miscellaneous other things: The fact that Mother and Father are capitalized implies they’re important, like names. The creature’s depicted in DISEASE and MOTHER also seem to be skeletal in appearance, which cements them as somewhat related. And I think that the entities in MOTHER are trying to save themselves using Mother’s blood/flesh, but as said in the cypher, “neither bloodlust nor our deep subconscious shall save us.” DISEASE seems to have given up entirely.
