Just read down here: “Sypinthiolaquet, sypinthiolaquet, sypinthiolaquet!” Alexandria sang happily. “That your favourite word?” Amelia asked. “Maybe,” Alexandria replied before starting to sing again. “Are you all wondering what the next word is going to be?” Sally asked, looking over at Alexandria. “Yeah! I can’t wait!” Alexandria replied before turning back to walking the secret tunnel that they found in the other room. “Let’s all make a bet, whoever guesses the next unknown word’s first letter gets to pick what to eat for dinner when we get back,” Joshua exclaimed. “Sounds good to me,” Jayden replied as the others nodded. “Okay, bet on the letters, best if each of us choose a different letter,” Joshua said. “I’ll go first!” Sam said. “Go for it,” Joshua said, listening in. “I’ll bet on the letter F,” “I’ll go second,” Amelia said. “What are you betting on?” Joshua asked. “The letter P!” Amelia said confidently. “I’ll go next!” Alexandria shouted. “I’m after!” Sally exclaimed. “I’m after Sally,” William said. “I’ll go after William,” Jayden said. When Jade didn’t say anything, Joshua said, “Alexandria to Sally to William to Jayden and to Jade. That’s the order,” “I’m betting on the letter G!” “I’ll bet on the letter Y,” “The letter D would do,” “Letter H I would go for,” “Um. The letter S thank you,” “Okay,” Joshua started, “I’m betting on the letter K, so that means Amelia is betting on P, Sam is going for F, Sally Y, Alexandria G, William G, Jayden H and Jade K. All locked in?” The others nodded their heads, then Joshua nodded his head too. “Good. I’m going to remember them.” “Well, if everyone doesn’t get the letter, then what will it be?” William asked. “Great question. Um. Maybe a scissors paper rock battle,” Joshua shrugged his shoulders. “Yeah, we could do that,” Jade agreed along with the others who nodded their heads. “Well, um, oka-” Joshua started but William cut him off by looking behind them. “What is it?” he asked. “Enemies.” William replied and gestured for Theodore to get ready with the bow. “Shoot at the source of the next sound and standby when one of us goes in?” Theodore asked. “Right on!” William exclaimed and Theodore nocked an arrow on the bow, facing the way they came from. “Get ready Jade, there are quite a lot of them,” William said. “I know,” Jade replied as they heard a sound from in front of them. William nodded towards Theodore, who had stretched out the arrow, and shouted, “Fire!” Theodore released the arrow and the arrow shot through the air and hit someone. The person fell with a thud. Then they heard footsteps. Lots of footsteps, charging towards them. “Theodore, fire another two arrows, then, Jade, attack them,” William said to them. “Roger that!” They both exclaimed simultaneously. Theodore nocked, drew and fired another arrow, repeating with another. As the last arrow hit home, Jade muttered, “One sword style, water technique, one percent power, Echoing Tsunami!” Jade jumped into the air and blasted off one of the walls, taking out her sword at the same time. She leaped from wall to ceiling to floor to ground, repeating until she started slicing the first enemy in line. Then she spun around and cut past anyone that was in her way. On her way, she heard lots of grunts and thuds as the enemies hit the floor. Her purple blade slashed easily past the enemies. She kept going a few metres past where it ended and shot back, stopping where she took off. At that moment, William, Jade, Sam and Amelia all heard a sound and whirled their heads around. They saw past Theodore grinning and the other four gaping at them. “Look behind you, what do you see?” William asked them. Theodore looked behind him and sighed.
Continue down here: Alexandria and Sally looked at the word and started celebrating. Jayden grinned and Joshua sighed heavily. There is from of them was another unknown word, Holwpothres. “Time to find it’s meaning!” Alexandria exclaimed, jumping up and down. “Okay, holwpothres. Start definition.” Sally said and started walking forward to the bold, underlines words. “Look what I found!” She exclaimed when she got there. “What is it?” Alexandria asked, coming over. “A small grey cube,” Sally replied, pointing. Everyone came over and saw the cube. Then the cube moved to the left, then the right and jumped up. When it hit the floor, it disappeared. “Strange. A very weird cube moving about. Think someone’s controlling it?” Joshua asked. “Well, now a days, we can find anything to be controlled by a few pieces of wire, a few lines of code or a controller.” William replied. “But at the same time, the cube disappeared where none of those things could have done,” Jade exclaimed. “So, where is it now anyways?” Alexandria asked. The other shrugged. Then William said, “Well, like us, the cube could have sped away.” “Yeah, but how does an object like that be able to speed away very fast?” Jayden asked. “Well, the cube has less surface area and to speed away, it can use… boosters?” William replied. “Maybe. Or it can hover and has something that moves it,” Jade added. “Let’s try to find it,” Sally said, walking away immediately after saying these words. Alexandria followed and so did the others. They wandered the tunnels, walking for a while until Alexandria and Sally saw the grey cube again. “Look, we found it!” They exclaimed in unison. The others showed up behind just as the cube moved forward, up and hovered in the air, flipping so that all the sides showed North every few seconds. Then the cube disappeared again. “What do you guys think this cube has something to do with the word. holwpothres?” Jayden asked. “Probably means a mysterious object in all aspects,” Alexandria replied. “Your probably right,” Sally said, the others agreeing. “New word! Let’s go!” Alexandria and Sally cheered. “Aren’t you guys forgetting something?” Jayden asked. “Bet won,” William said.
