⊱──────────⋆⋅✯⋅⋆──────────⊰ hi! i had a few more things to say about dawnkit that i would like to share here! this includes some specifics of how she acts as an introvert, insights on how she handles fears and phobias, and maybe a possible anxiety disorder (which you can approve or disapprove of, of course). actions & behaviors - i wanted to add that dawnkit isn’t just an introvert, but she’s mostly also just scared of what others would think of her, so she commonly has trouble interacting with others because of this. when she does talk to others or cats she doesn’t know, she’ll most likely just nod along to everything. i would like to include how that conversation would go, so you can find that at the bottom of the project. with her family, she may be a bit more open, although he can get nervous sometimes and blank out. fears & phobias - agoraphobia- this phobia is the fear of crowded places, in which escape is difficult glossophobia- the phobia of public speaking (naturally, for dawnkit) hemophobia- fear of blood claustrophobia- fear of confined spaces atelophobia- fear of inadequacy sociophobia- fear of social situation, especially about being judged or embarrassed dawnkit especially has atelophobia and sociophobia. she tries to avoid situations where she might be judged as inadequate or unworthy. possible disorder & research - i was thinking dawnkit could have selective mutism. selective mutism is an anxiety-based communication disorder that gives people trouble speaking to strangers. in the long term, an individual with selective mutism may be fully capable of speech but have some inability to speak in certain situations, particularly those involving unfamiliar people, or people (or cats) that have more authority or experience. this difficulty often continues beyond early childhood, if not helped, though the way it shows up can change over time. rather than growing out of it, many people learn coping strategies and other ways to communicate. they may rely on gestures, expressions, or trusted cats or family members to address their needs. over time, people can develop observational skills and awareness of social cues. (if you need more research you can ask ^^)
