He loves to work or at least get a chance to run around the paddock for several hours. Definitely lunge Sterling for a couple minutes before hopping on. He gets bored very easily too, needing a lot of mental stimulation whether between toys, slow feeders, puzzles, or even just a challenging ride! He will be the best guard "dog" one could ask for and is wary of new people.
