Lots of schoolwork, loads of projects, and now... a complete restructuring of systems. ==================== The transition to an Itch-exclusive is complete! This game will not be posted to Scratch when it's finished (it can't lol)! This means that I can start using extensions to really bring this thing to fruition. Let's take a look at what's in the screenshots. > THE OPTIONS MENU! AGAIN! Because let's be honest, 1,000,067 times wasn't enough. This menu is going to be the main attraction of the game, trust me bro. - Fast Text Speed (finally), brought to you by the Animated Text extension. - Sound Settings. You can change the volume of three different things separately. Might be useful? Maybe? > NEW CUTSCENE! The next general game update will feature another Scouring the Complex cutscene, as well as a deeper look at just how differently this chapter will operate from the first. > DIS DOOFUS CAN'T READ! Yes, this game is continuing the long-standing tradition of expressive faces personifying the invisible background sprites that started with PROEPILOGUE some years back. It's not the only tradition being carried over; keep an eye out for more. ;) ==================== So, why the long wait? As of this post, it's been almost a year since the last playable demo was put out. I know, it's an atrocity. But, it's not the only project that's been in the works over at DistractionsDaily Incorporated, as you might be able to tell by the fact I just can't seem to disappear from your feed. Over the coming months, I will draw some attention to other projects I've done, whether they were for fun or for school. There will be soundtracks, concepts, and - yes - playable content.
