Press the green flag to start! (If it opens with a black-and-white window, press the flag again.) You have 30 seconds to visit each science target and test the ground samples you take. Completing a test will give you a point and add 3 seconds to the clock. Get 5 points to win! But careful--if you walk into an obstacle on the terrain, it's -4 seconds. Every 5 seconds, there is a 1 in 4 chance you might lose some time to unforeseen hazards, so be quick!
