There was not a sound to be heard. Not a creature to be seen. The wind whispered through the leaves. A pale green fog sat on the forest, and the trees twisted up like snakes. Where was the world she once knew? The blue sky, now only a memory. The land had been overcome by the pale green forests, with fogs that never lifted. She missed the old world, the pink flowers. Colors. She could barely remember them. Did they ever exist? Were they only a dream? She sighed softly as she padded through the eerie forest. Puddles splashed beneath her, and she caught a glimpse of her reflection. She had changed so much. She brushed a paw over her hoodie. She had only started wearing it after the river swept her away from her parents. Her parents. Where were they now? Were they alive? Were they looking for her? She remembered the day she ventured too close to the river. Somehow she knew that the world was much prettier back then, but she couldn't remember what it looked like. All she knew was that she had been sitting in a ,,,, a clearing. A plain with no trees. That couldn't be possible, could it? Then the river had grabbed her, whisked her away, and brought her to where she was now. A pale green forest. She had tried to wander back home, but the forests had taken over. Where home might have been was now just many, desolate, twisted trees. Would it always be like this? Would she always be a Wanderer? Roaming around eerie forests till the end of her days? She reflected on what her life had been before, at least, the few memories that she remembered. The fish in the rivers. Where were the rivers now? She couldn't find any. There used to be so many, right? Or was that just another dream? Just another dream. But no, it couldn't be, it had to have been real. She remembered the cool water pushing her along, away from her family. She remembered the powerful tug. The flow of water through her fur. It had to have been real, but the memory was so vague, so far away now. She was brought back to the present with a splatter of water. Her paws were soaking wet, they were always soaking wet. Puddles dotted the forest floor, reflecting the foreboding branches of trees that she wished she would never have to see again. But they were there. They always were. Right? Was it always like this? Wandering around twisted trees, trying to see through the fog. Trying to see if there was an end to the foreboding forest. Or was she just walking around is circles? She shivered. Life was like a dream now. A bad one. Walking endlessly through the pale green forests. Splashing over eerie puddles of water. She hated drinking from them, but there was no water elsewhere. Food. What was that? She remembered it. She remembered,,, eating. Why? It was because of hunger, right? It had been a long time since she had felt hunger. She never felt full in this forest. Never felt hungry. As if the fog itself turned you into air, so that you float around. So why did she get thirsty? Riverclaws. That word was familiar. Somehow she knew, she KNEW, that she was a Riverclaw. But what was that? It was on the tip of her paw, just out of reach. She struggled to remember. Why did it feel so important to her? ・゚ ✧・゚ ✧・゚ ✧・゚ ✧・゚ ✧ rest is wip :P art and design in the project is by :> edit: the design is now mine !! :DDD
