I've been noticing that I haven't been on scratch recently and that's quite concerning. There is a reason although it is a complex one. Basically after people found out that Scratch was going to train an AI, they all began to panic. I'm pretty sure it was only going to be trained off code, but many initially thought that it would it would steal their art which caused people to get upset. Some (who knew it would train off code) filled their projects with the most horrid code imaginable as a form of protest (?). It caused a bunch of people to join Anti-AI studios that are openly against AI art. I even heard of a boycott was planned to happen a while ago as another form of protest. And I supposed it caused some to leave Scratch altogether... Like my friend @Grumblecakez who also unshared all of his projects, because I guess he thought that would prevent his projects from being used to teach AI? (as of writing this he's recently reshared all his projects but I don't know if it will be that way) As for me, it definitely discouraged me to make any new projects by a bit especially since I didn't have any big projects at the time (I do have one project in the works though but I'm not telling you) and I wasn't sure if Scratch was going to train the AI off of all my projects I've made or any new projects I would make after agreeing to those terms of service. It was because of that uncertainty, that it caused me to not go on my laptop at all. Usually I'm online from 9AM-11AM and again from 1PM-4PM but since I now had no real reason to use my laptop I only went online once a day to none at all; And given they way my brain works after I went enough days without using my laptop, I saw it as a normal thing to not want to use it. (if that makes sense) Now I'm trying to make a habit of going online ONCE a day in anytime, of course YouTube and my AuDHD are still there impeding anything productive. But I still managed to get a small amount of work done on this site whether that be making oc's disturbed to working on Incrediblobs V4 (yes, I'm making a fourth and final incrediblobs game). It isn't like I'm getting anything done outside of scratch either, I'm often playing video games, YT, helping around the house when I can and even drawing. That's right, I've recently started drawing random things in a sketchbook and I was hoping to share some of what I drew on scratch someday, but I'm not sure how I'll get around to doing so. So don't worry, I'm not leaving scratch, there might not be much left here but it doesn't take much for a slime to survive... or die.
