also I realized I should prolly make an official d3ath project for Asteroiddream so here it is its gonna be rushed but shhh Asteroid was dying. Her head was pounding as she collapsed on the ground, their body aching from the long trek up the hill. They wanted to leave in a place that solar would remember. She looked over the landscape, everywhere it had ever known. Their vision was blurring now-- her thoughts were mashing into one. It always knew her brain injury would k!ll her one day. She never had a cat to call her best friend-- the only cat she had ever loved, she had betrayed. Their sibling. Cometpaw, solar wanted to cry out. I'm sorry, they pleaded. But their mouth wouldn't move. Its stomach grumbled. They hadn't eaten in days-- their body was too weak. Her paws shook. The world was now nothing but a smudge of green and blue. That beautiful, big sky. It groaned in pain as another surge of pain shot through her brain, leaving her weak. “‘g’bye. . .’ ‘ Was all she managed to mutter before her blue eyes glazed over, losing the spark they had held for 20 moons. Asteroid was nothing anymore. She was floating— all of her racing thoughts fading to nothing as her flank rose for one last pained breath. Now, she was nothing but a singular star in the sky. All it hoped was that they would shine someone’s paws along the right path. That was all they could do now.
