‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › Hello everyone and welcome to the Scratch Chaos Camp camper signups! Please read the entire description, because SCC is fairly different from other Scratch camps. What is SCC? SCC stands for Scratch Chaos Camp! It is a Scratch camp, like SWC, JWC, SDC, SPC… But SCC doesn't focus on writing, designing, photography, music, or anything similar. SCC focuses on creating chaos (specifically, SWChaos) and having fun with other people. Some activities are related to writing, others have to do with playing games in the main cabin, and there's also a bit of competition! Camper signups close on January 25th, at 11:59 p.m. UTC. Backup camper signups will be open until February 10th. ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › Please remember to always follow the Community Guidelines when causing chaos. We want to cause chaos respectfully. Please don't spam or say inappropriate things to other campers. Also, it's important to remember that life is more important than Scratch, so don't forget to sleep, drink water and take care of yourself! ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › To join, please fill out this form: Username ঌ Nickname ঌ Your activity level next February ঌ Minimum 2 cabin preferences (you can also choose to have no preferences!) ঌ Would you be alright with having your comments screenshotted and quoted in the Memory Book? (Always, ask first, or never) ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › SCC is a small camp, and this is our first session, so we only have 3 cabins this session. Book Creatures Carnival ⌯ @z3phy_th3_cr4zy ⌯ @babyoda1546 Welcome to the carnival! Are you ready to have some fun? The K*vin Agency ۩ @starunicorn_5 Detectives, assemble- K*vin is loose: channel your inner chaotic spirit, make everlasting bonds, and have an amazing time while searching for SWCity's most wanted criminal! Mythical Mango Grove ☀︎ @Duckily_The_Great Welcome to the mango grove, a place you weren’t sure existed outside of fairy tales. However, not all is as it seems as you begin to explore the mango grove with your cabin mates. There’s something mysterious happening, and it’s up to you to fix it before the mythical grove dies out. ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― ›- How does SCC work? Scratch Chaos Camp runs from the 1st of February to the 28th of February, and it's entirely online and on scratch! Each camper is sorted into a ‘cabin’ which will be having it's own (co)leader('s) and cabin theme and storyline, your cabin in like your ‘team’ which you will try and win the competition with. There will be a ‘main cabin’ which is like a cabin-wide hub where all the cabins join together to chat, have fun and participate in activities, such as dailies, weeklies and more! Each activity gains your cabin ‘points’ which will be tallied up at the end of the session to see which cabin won! ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― ›
‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › FAQ - Do I have to have participated in a session of SWC to join? No! SCC is an inclusive camp where you need no prior experience in ay scratch camp or any writing skills. We encourage everyone to come and join us to have fun! That being said, a lot of the jokes may be focused on SWC inside jokes which you may not understand without knowing anything about the SWC community; however, everything will be explained to you and if you don't understand anything just ask about it in the main cabin or on a host's/leader's profile. We don't want anyone to feel left out or discouraged due to lack of SWC experience. - Are there word counts / goals? There will be no word counts as this camp is focused on causing chaos and having fun and not writing skills. Unlike SWC and other scratch camps SWC isn't a camp focused on enhancing skills so there isn't a set way of gaining points and it may vary from cabin to cabin depending on the cabin storyline and the choice of your (co)leader('s). The general idea will be ‘chaos trackers’, and you will gain points for things like participating in a bandwagon or completing a daily. You can choose to set goals for yourself using your cabins currency system on how much chaos you would like to cause by the send of the session but it's not obligatory and will not be strictly enforced. - What is the memory book? Much like SWC, the memory book is a way of documenting all the fun and chaos that happened during the session. It's like a project that you will be able to look back at in the future and remember all the fun and memories of the session. It will have a compilation of quotes and memories from the session. - Do I have to check in daily? It is not obligatory to check in daily but it is encouraged to complete dailies (daily activities) and try and regularly add points in the chaos trackers. ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― › Credits ›› @Lyrids-, @babyoda1546 and @unercornshine for hosting SCC ›› @z3phy_th3_cr4zy, @Duckily_The_Great and @starunicorn_5 for leading this session of SCC ›› SWC and its amazing (g)hosts for inspiration ‹ ― ― ‹ ⚘⛺︎ › ― ― ›
