The MRA has been revived by Leon Johnson as a private sports car company that originated its roots in Downtown Manhattan in the famous Financial district. For more then 54 years the MRA continued to sell sport cars by modifying and enhancing car chassis with detreville engines until 2009 when the company ceased all operations to become Hornet Motorsports. McPherson Racing American continued to build limited amounts of sport cars until the tragic death of Jason McPherson. This car honors him for his racing legacy with the first 100 editions of this car selling with the sport livery with the white stripes and a white stars dedicated to Jason Mcpherson.
