Okay so I’m bored and I’m looking at official Super Smash Bros. Tier Lists and I got an idea. This is (kinda) official so yeah (I am technically the idea writer of CBCOS and its reboot so I think I could make this official I guess) Characters will be ranked by how enjoyable they are, and their current ranking in the show. Let’s get into it! D Tiers: 9th-10th: Circley and 5-Ball I think both of them are equally as bad, and they placed poorly in the show, but I couldn’t decide which character was worse. So instead of picking favorites, I just made them 9-10. It can honestly go either way. Anyways, here are their pros. Circley is a pretty good character overall, but kinda lacks screen time. And 5-ball was a pretty solid character in the first episode, but then proceeded to be eliminated immediately. Now for their cons. Circley, as said by Pizza, isn’t a funny joke character, and his voice is kinda annoying (sorry SB08, but the loud screaming and addition of Robot isn’t a blessing to my ears), and they only spoke TWICE in episode 1, being extremely bland. On top of that they’re ninth, the second worst position in CBCOS. Now for 5-Ball. Admittedly, his voice is pretty annoying (not as bad as Circley though) and his entire character is just being the first eliminated and nothing else, although he was a pretty eventful character in the first episode. 8th: Oak Tree Oak Tree was a pretty bad character already, and then his derailment was just so bad I didn’t feel bad at all when I rewatched his elimination. For his pros, I think that before his derailment, he was pretty interesting. Plus he has a WONDERFUL VOICE ACTOR-but seriously, his voice is pretty alright to listen to, and isn’t as annoying as the previous two. And he placed pretty well, 5th out of ten contestants is alright. That’s about it for his pros. Cons, we have a long list to go through. Don’t even get me started on his personality starting on the fifth episode. Sure I get it, no one is supposed to believe Nacho when he says Jersey will take over the show but HOLY COW he is such a jerk, Nacho did say “Why would I ever lie to you?”, and he makes a fair point. Then in episode 6, Window spits so many facts about Oak Tree being bad out of her mouth that it actually makes her a good character. I don’t even need to go through all of them, but I’ll explain one of them, the real reason Oak Tree was “betrayed” by his friends is because he wasn’t giving them second chances and overall didn’t care about them. I swear recording that rant was so annoying to deal with… C Tiers: 7th: Pizza Pizza is the definition of someone who tries too hard to be the main character and it backfires. First, his pros. He is a pretty funny character and had a good arc going with Window, and he wasn’t really that annoying. Heck he was really funny sometimes, like in CBCOS 2, where he pranks RCFB, and then RCFB’s team immediately wins because of that. Now for the cons. While they’re small, they definitely drag Pizza down. For one, he just actively screws over his team. In CBCOS 2 and 3, he made his team lose just because he wanted to prank someone. He got away with it in episode 2 but couldn’t in episode 3, where he got eliminated. This also lowers him on the list because he was the 3rd contestant eliminated, placing eighth. I think in the merge, with no teams, he would do extremely well, and SB08 considered letting him rejoin, but that didn’t happen, so 7th is the highest spot I could give him. 6th: Candy Candy wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be. They actually have some pretty good pros. For one, they ranked 4th, almost making the finale, which is really good, and I also really liked them in Episode 3 (top tier character in episode 3), and last but not least, his arc with phone and sticky note was alright. Not the best arc, but it’s alright. Then, their cons. For one, whenever someone’s up for elimination, he’ll go “oh, I vote you cuz you’re mean” and because of that LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE CONTESTANT IN THE FINAL 4 WAS ALL “goody two-shoes”. Also they don’t really have a personality. In the CBCOS wiki, it says he’s a childish kid who does anything he wants, I guess you could say that fit the description of Candy in CBCOS 3, but anything else? Nope. And also he’s kinda annoying to watch. His voice actor was super silent so I could barely make out what they were saying (but they’re doing better in the reboot though so it’s good they’re improving). And also his scene in episode 4 was just Episode 6 Oak Tree all over again but being nice instead of mean. Alright, that’s all I got. Now we move on to the… B Tiers: 5th: Window Let’s just get it over with. Pros. Window placed 3rd (maybe 2nd) in the first season which skyrockets them to 5th, and they had one of, if not, the best character arcs of all time, with Pizza. She also was pretty good in the end of Episode 6, where she actually didn’t feel annoying.
(Continued) now for the cons. She is so annoying. Her personality is just sucking up to phone and being another “goody two-shoes”, and her voice is so high that it annoys me. Still, I wouldn’t argue much if someone said Window was their favorite character, because they are eventful through CBCOS. 4th: Crayon Crayon is 7th in CBCOS but I think they’re the best eliminated team contestant. She’s honestly just super funny and goofy. She gets decent amounts of screen time (except in episode 3) and actually has a personality that doesn’t change every five seconds. Now for the cons, and there isn’t a lot, but they do drag her down from being an A tier. She’s just stupid, literally eliminated herself, and I get it was part of the episode, but it felt dumb. Then in Episode 3 she only talked once and in Episode 1 she was just kinda there. Sure she talks, but she isn’t as eventful. And the last one, she’s ranked 7th, which is pretty low. All of this lowers her from an A Tier. A Tiers: 3rd: Sticky Note Okay. Sticky Note is kind of a mixed bag. I’ve seen people love him, I’ve seen people hate him. For his pros, he’s a pretty good character, getting lots of screen time, having a consistent personality, and getting 1st in CBCOS. He’s literally the reason CBCOS wasn’t destroyed in Episode 6, and from his lines in the finale, he would’ve played a large part. Now for the cons. His voice actor was the same as Candy, so he was pretty quiet (but I could hear him slightly better) and in Episode 2, he screwed over the challenge for his team, really. He should’ve been eliminated in Episode 2 instead of Circley. Overall, he’s a very good character, and deserved winning CBCOS, but some cons are pulling him away as the best character. 2nd: Nacho I realized this contestant is more than just “Oak Trees friend” and actually got some decent screen time before Episode 4. Then episode 4 came, and this dude immediately became one of, if not the best character in CBCOS. His arc with Jersey where he became harsher and Jersey started to mess with him which led to his unfortunate elimination in Episode 5 was so good. They could’ve done his character and his arc with Jersey WAY better, but I’m not complaining. It’s already good as it is. Now for the cons. He is 6th on the show, which is alright, but not the best, and his character before Episode 4 was not the best, and his voice in Episode 1-3 was NOT good at all. Good thing the VA changed it in Episode 4. He was almost first, but I think that belongs to… Number 1: Phone! Phone is the best character in CBCOS. His pros are a long list, but to start, he was 2nd (maybe 3rd?) in CBCOS and was super impactful. His arc with Sticky Note was awesome, and his voice actor is HILARIOUS! His voice definitely fit Phone (W voice actor) and I’m excited to see what he’s cooking for the reboot! But Phone isn’t flawless, he does have a few cons. In Episode 2, 3, and 6, he was pretty much useless, and same with Episode 5, but he did have one useful scene with SN, but other than that, he just didn’t have much screen time, but when he did, it was worth it. And that’s it! Did you guys agree with me? Let me know in the comments!
