= = DATABASE = = Blast Man (DWN-083) Special Weapon: Chain Blast // a bomb that can link to other Chain Blasts to blow up a wider area >> Equipped Gear: Power Gear = = AI EXPLANATION = = Blast Man has two main attacks which he switches between using: - his first attack involves him tossing a volley of bombs while standing on the ground - his second attack has him run towards the player, getting close before jumping away and throwing a spread of bombs at the height of the jump before dropping down. he will also jump immediately if the player shoots while he's running Some things to note: - While not under the effects of Power Gear, his bombs come in small groups of 5. - He always slings his bombs in such a way that one bomb will directly target the player's position. - If the player shoots in the short period before his next attack, he will retaliate by doing his jump attack, hanging in the air for longer before dropping down. Once Blast Man reaches 21 health or lower, he performs his Chain Blast attack as soon as he can. Afterward, he performs this attack every 3 attacks. For his Chain Blast attack, he throws out four floating bombs that stay in place then become active and gravitate towards the player when approached. When active, bombs that get close enough to each other will link together to make a bigger boom, the blast radius indicated by the red circles around the bombs. While the floating Chain Blasts are on the field, he occasionally chucks a bomb at the player, switching between doing it in place and doing so in a variation of his main jump attack where he opts to jump nearer to the player rather than away. - POWER GEAR - At 14 health or lower, Blast Man utilizes his Power Gear, increasing the size of his bombs and their explosions greatly. In this state, his bombs come in groups of 3 instead of the usual 5. After using Power Gear for the first time, he switches between having it on and off after every time he does his Chain Blast attack. = = CREDITS = = CAPCOM for Mega Man Blast Man sprites by Sir Hoopsalot NES remix of the Mega Man 11 boss theme by DINGO XStables for the Gear activation sounds that I used here Spriters Resource and Sprites Inc for general sprite rips The rest is by me.
