Devlog #4, it's just a reading project because the audio decided to spontaneously disappear MLG - Hey everyone, it’s MLG, Eko- Eko, Crystal- and Crystal All- AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER HOT GARBAGE GAMES DEVLOG Eko - I know I’m normally Blake but I go by a different name now so if you’re wondering where the heck Blake is, they’re me. MLG- Anyway, let’s get on with the devlog. Crystal, would you mind telling our audience why we didn’t have one for October, November, and December? Crystal- Of course! We didn’t have a devlog in October because MLG and Eko were very busy. Eko had personal projects, a job, school, and responsibility on filling both hands so they didn’t have time whilst MLG had homework and responsibilities to handle as well. Eko- Unfortunately this is true. While others aren’t worried about their future at our age, we prefer a headstart but even though this is true, things can still go wrong. MLG - I would know that better than anyone at the moment but Eko and Crystal encourage me to keep going. Crystal - Ok Ok, let’s actually get to what we're here for. MLG take it away with the TAOC news, if we have any. MLG - As a matter of fact, I do have some news concerning TAoC. For one, I’m seriously thinking about rebuilding it from the ground up. The current build is very laggy for what little content it has. Plus, last time I had Eko and my other siblings playtest, they said it was too hard. By rebuilding it, I could definitely iron out some of the issues. Crystal - Agreed, rebuilding it could definitely fix some of the current errors. Especially the lag by cleaning up the code. Eko- we want our games to be the best they can be for the resources we have right now MLG - Yeah. As well as a technical rebuilding, I also want to make some major changes concerning the plot, characters, and ending after the first chapter. Let’s move to another topic. What’s been going on with SO? Eko- Yes, we do have some things to discuss! For starters, I would like to share that we have some awesome new mechanics such as a chair rolling mechanic. Since the player is in the actual middle of the office, in order to get to the fuse box, doors, and computer(s) you have to roll to them, pretty cool, right? Then the fuse box has a design now, with a panel you can open and close! We also have some new animatronic mechanics, which I’m sure Crystal would love to tell you about! Crystal - Wait…I would? Oh yeah! A lot of animatronics can do special functions to make the players survival even more difficult! Such as the capability of the restaurant's titular character, Hopscotch, who will be capable of tampering with the power, messing up doors and cameras, which can be countered using the fuse box. On the subject of doors, buddy, who rarely leaves the stage, will be able to smash through doors, which will be counteracted by hiding under the desk and using the toggle monitors to use a deterring audio. When Buddy isn’t out and about, he’s tampering with the power, breaking your fuse box and, until you fix the fuse box, shutting down your power, cameras, and doors. You can stop Buddy for doing this by using the lure audios from the toggle menu but each animatronic has their own audio so make sure you use the right one or it’s game over. Eko- Heather doesn’t use doors, in game, Heather stays in her makeup parlor, only using the vents to try and end you. Multiple characters can use the vents so let’s explain the vent mechanics! First, don’t let a character get to your office vent, if they do, it’s game over and you can’t do anything about it. You can’t close vents so use the toggle menu to deter them. You have to use the toggle menus on either side of you, the left menu is for left side stuff only and vice versa. Fennec is a wild card, when he leaves the daycare, use the shutdown button on the right side of your desk and hide before he reaches your office. If your lights are on and/or you're not hiding, it's game over. MLG- And we have more characters, too, but unfortunately not all of them have official designs or game gimmicks.
