Yet another kaiju design has been conceptualized for the Zilantus reboot. People who have been following me for a bit (on my old account as well) know that I made this kaiju for a competition along with another one. I made another sketch of it back in January of last year. I really wanted to incorporate this one into the reboot because I feel like it can hold a unique role in the story. Info regarding this kaiju(open to public): A large kaiju that resembles the looks of a Japanese dragon moray eel. Changes in the fin running down its back has given it an increase in maneuverability, making it a formidable force in the ocean it patrols, primarily being the pacific and occasionally the Indian. These fins have also given it a new startling ability. By spinning in a rapid circle, Harikēnrōdo can generate large whirlpools and tropical storms, such as hurricanes or typhoons. These storms are much stronger than ones naturally formed, and have laid waste to land in previous moments. This ability gave it its name, which quite literally means “Hurricane lord”. Governments around the world keep a close eye on this kaiju due to its massive size, unpredictable behavior, and for potential research regarding —//REDACTED//
