(DTIYS info after speech '^^) Hey again everyone! Where do I even start... This project marks a pretty big milestone I've recently reached: 100+ followers! I can't begin to describe how grateful I am. I've been on this platform for 6 years, and at first, I didn't really know about its online community. Discovering this community, interacting with other great users, seeing amazing projects, it's all been so wonderful. Gaining followers, people who like my projects, my art, is so incredibly encouraging. My art would have never improved the way it did without the things I've learnt from the art community here. I started out with wonky lineart, 1 layer artworks and bad shading. I'm so proud of where I am now! So many artists on Scratch have been so inspirational for me. MAPS have always been so magical to me (lol). So many people, coming together with their different styles and ideas, all joining together to make one huge passion project! Truly wonderful. Comics are probably the next best thing. They're so many mind-bogglingly good comics with beautiful art, fantastic writing and, as I've said before, seriously determind artists. Have I mentioned that so many comics have improved so much? They've gone from little beginner projects to huge stories with slap-bang amazing art for every. Single. Pannel. The people who've believed in those beginner projects, who've stuck around from the start, are the real fans. I'm proud of you, my fellas. Long story short, I love being here, on Scratch. I love having the occasional chat, catching up with my Scratch friends and posting art. Thank you so, so much to everyone who's followed me. Y'all are such good peeps. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) But... reaching this milestone also means a change... One that I'm sorry about. I won't be able to tag all my followers in every post anymore. Yes, that's what it is lol. Did I get you? So, to celebrate 100+ followers, I'm hosting my second-ever DTIYS!!! The last one was for, IDK, 60+? I've come so far இ௰இ (ty ty everyone!) So what is a DTIYS? It stands for Draw This In Your Style, and it's a contest where I, the host, provides all of you with one of my artworks! You can find her ref here inside the project. (It's pretty outdated, but the design and colour pallet are still the same.) ★ You can also find a flat colour version of this drawing inside the project, to making colour-picking easier ^^. It doesn't include the shades for the lighting or details though. ★ This is alternative-universe Spotflower from one of my AUs, but her actual story vibe is pretty much the same. ★ Spotflower is a Dalmatian dog. ★ She uses she/her pronouns and is Bi$exual + Demiaroace. ★ She's a silly little mad lady. >:3 ★ She's holding a revolver in this artwork, btw. (I dunno what gun anatomy is like, so...) ☆ Feel free to make small changes (to the background, character design, etc.)! ☆ It's okay if you want to slightly simplify the background or make it more detailed! ☆ Spotflower is standing in a city alleyway in this drawing.
