Good morning, afternoon, or evening. I am hosting yet another competition. This one is to make a new Kaiju for the Zilantus lore reboot! Since I am trying to reboot a lore I have tried to twice now, I believe using some other peoples’ ideas, designs, suggestions, or more might be able to boost the lore, and give me more to work with. However, I do want to state a few rules below. 1. I do not care what format said drawing is on, it can be vector, bitmap, digital, paper, 3D model, or any other method you can think of. 2. Your art does NOT have to be good. This is focused on a good concept rather than a good artistic execution. 3. Please no recolors, I would like to avoid Kaiju that look too similar to already similar Kaiju (Godzilla, gamera, other Kaiju on this platform, etc). I don’t wanna see any Godzilla OCs or any recolored vectors. 4. Don’t be afraid to be creative with these Kaiju. Give them some cool abilities or behaviors (This doesn’t apply to all Kaiju, read rule 7) 5. Give them a good design. If your basing them off an existing animal, please state that animal in your submission (More info on this in rule 7) 6. Make it YOUR work. Don’t steal other peoples ideas or things you see on the internet (You can use them as inspiration just don’t copy them) 7. For those who don’t know, this reboot will follow and incorporate the evolution of Kaiju over time. This means you can make them look like large, simple beasts, modern animals with new abilities, or make them look alien to a degree (I’m not picky) 8. When designing your Kaiju lore, try not to make it too OP. I don’t want to see immortal creatures or god like entities. Even though some of the Kaiju will look alien, that doesn’t mean they have a new set of physics behind them. 9. I’m disappointed, but not surprised I have to say this, but NO AI. I will not make any exceptions. If it’s a top tier design and ai was involved in its making, I will not accept it. 10. There’s no officially set lore as of right now, so you don’t really have to bend to anything. Please be realistic when making sizes though. Top 3-5 winners (Depending of how many submissions are sent) will have a spot in the lore, and the placing determines how big of a role said Kaiju receives. If you dont win, please don’t be upset about it. You could use your Kaiju design and make your own story out of it, which is something I’ve done with a Kaiju who didn’t make the cut (At least the major one) SET DEADLINE IS **APRIL 15**(Previously March 20), but things could change under certain scenarios. When you post your submission, please set it in the designated studio. I will link it in the notes/credits. Anyways, be creative, follow the rules, and remember to have fun!
