Culmination of Project Venus. 125,000 ton Supercarrier. One of 10 Nuclear Supercarriers designed to replace the previous 14 Thaddeus II class supercarriers built during the 1990's and used extensively in WWSTU. The Repulse Class has been under continuous construction since 2016 as a long term replacement for the Thaddeus class, which lacked long term futureproofing after being rushed through construction to meet WWSTU build up demands in the Second Cold War. The Thadeus class was only intended to be a class with a lifespan of 30 years, however cost issues due to their construction and employment in the WWSTU conflict make their continued use uneconomical. These new carriers feature significant improvements in design and construction, with revised area air defence, increased size, top speed and capacity. Ultimately this would allow huge cost saving across the fleet with a reduction in numbers, crew requirements and overall number of vessels.
