In the late 1970s, the Karsvetian air force acquired 32 F1CEs and later 44 F1EEs from Neuvellon. In 1982, 12 F1Bs were also purchased to act as advanced jet trainers, still fulfilling the role to this day. In 1993, the F1CEs and F1EEs underwent a modernisation process into F1Ks with improved avionics and sensor suites. Later in 2006, a majority of the F1Ks where upgraded to F1K(e)s, being the more advanced versions capable of keeping up with the advancement of technology, becoming a potent multirole fighter. Currently, 72 of the original 88 F1s (16 either lost or in storage) are still in service with the F1B still playing an active role in training new pilots. currently 9 F1Bs, 14 F1Ks and 49 F1K(e)s are still in actvie service but are planned to be decommisioned and replaced by 2035 by the KF24s
