The first person to claim a system in a sector can name it, but if that sector is FULLY claimed by someone else their flag will be placed over the entire sector, they will also be able to change the name. Systems are able to be destroyed, but you must have a reason to do so, as well as the power to do so. To claim land, remix this, delete everything EXCEPT for the claim form. Then if we deem it reasonable, the claim will be accepted and the map will be edited. IMPORTANT REVISION: NEW RULE REGARDING SYSTEM CLAIMING: Max auto system claiming is 1 system/irl week. If you autoclaim more than 1 system/week without showing a proven track record of occupation (eg ships being in the system for an extended period of time, expeditions to planets, etc etc) then your claim will not immediately be added to the map. Showing such a track record will get your claim added. Also, needing more land for such and such is not a "reason for claim" - you must legitimize exactly HOW you have established control over the sector, not WHY you want it. This is effective 1/21/26.
