Darkness. Silence. Introspection. The waves of nothing rolled around him, suspending him in a sea of the unknown. It was everything he had known, yet nothing at all, a starless sky, a stormless ocean. Every moment felt like an eternity. Perhaps it was. Time seemed to slow at its own accord, the void around him twisting and rippling, as if it was alive. He couldn't help but open his eyes. A dark purple nothingness swam around him. He felt weightless. Senseless. Lifeless. Before him, a glowing shape, a star, perhaps. He couldn't tell for certain. Its piercing light and warmth brought sense to his body. He reached out. and it all came back. The Fire is Gone. You Are What Remains. All You Have to Accomplish Is HIS End. Rise, My Son.
