I wanted to analyze my first exploration and its many faults, and what I can improve on in the future, and what I did well. This exploration on my part was done improperly and does not bode well for my chances as leader, let's look over it. TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. What I think I did well 2. Faults and mistakes 3. What I will do in the future 1. I think I was a good communicator with the other deputy, I explained my issues well with them, and we had a good time planning together! 2. I think I properly displayed and warned of the risk to the cats I recruited 3. I think I made a convincing and in-character call for the exploration that aided in getting volunteers Faults and mistakes: 1. I did not find the explorations guidelines on my own, this is my biggest mistake as it made me go against multiple guidelines 2. I suggested collaborating with the other dep to start sending low exp/sick cats as a 'sacrifice' this week of sorts with their consent (Mainly because we did not have any high exp cats willing), while immoral this is a fine action IRP and one I think my cat would take, the problem with this is instead that it is explicitly stated that we should not do this, and if I had found it earlier I would have realized this. In a quote from Fal/Lux "but at the end of the day you're genuinely just.... putting everyone elses cats at risk and that's not okay" 3. I may have started a thread in the exploration section while that was not my job due to the fact that I did not properly read the description, this is self-explanatory and reflects poorly on me. (Correction: I am still uncertain, but at this point I believe I actually should be starting these) 4. The cats I recruited were OORP, while initially I found cats IRP, one became available rather suddenly and the other was too low exp to send, this led me to panic-selecting cats OORP, which was not the correct action to take 5. I did not build a better connection with my clan with this opportunity, instead opting to do this through individual RPs, which was not the correct course for me 3. What I will do in the future 1. I will only select high EXP cats unless we quite literally have no high EXP cats / all high EXP cats have explicitly said no (I define high exp as 40+ exp) 2. I will recruit IRP and IRP only, what I get is what I get 3. If I must recruit OORP, I will only begin to ask 12 hours before the deadline, and I will do a follow-up RP after recruitment recruiting the cat IRP Comments or corrections welcome!
