❝ What Angel Wakes Me ❞ A Nebulakit application ❝ Dancing on the wind, up and down again ❞ ☆⭒ -Lil_snowfox2- ⭒☆ ❝ Round and round the bed, fa la la la la la ❞ ☆⭒ Hey there! I'm Snow, I go by she/her (normal cis girl lol) but I'm also fine with they/them :] I like drawing, writing stories, singing and making up my own songs, and learning new things. Also I really like water. Yeah that's all I have to say XD I don't like talking about myself too much ⭒☆ ❝ From a flow'ry bed, to the clouds ascend ❞ ☆⭒ I'm applying for Nebula! Definitely gonna start calling them Nebby :3 First of all this kit's design is ✨gorgeous✨ no cap!! It's very pretty but not excessive. I also think it will be an interesting experience to write a schizophrenic character, especially in the cat world. I'm not schizophrenic nor do I know anyone who is, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of research to understand just what I'm doing. (God I yap a lot-) ⭒☆ ❝ Tumble down again, fa la la la la la ❞ ☆⭒ Oh ho I do have plans for this child! I'd like them to eventually be a highrank of some sort (can't guarantee of course...) though plans are subject to change we know this. I never liked the grinding stage so I didn't do it as much as I should've with my last cat, but that's gonna change this time if I get the kit, cause this little bean was destined for greatness! Schizophrenia can't stop them >:3 I haven't decided on pronouns, maybe demigirl with neos and/or genderfluid. ⭒☆ ❝ Yet with each descent, do we rise again ❞ ☆⭒ I'm not gonna lie and say I'll be on 25/8. Honestly my motivation usually lessens as the cat gets older... so I COMPLETELY understand if you'd prefer someone more active (I would too lol) but I'll try my best regardless :D I don't roleplay at all on weekends (or breaks usually) but I will be on Monday-Friday, how long may vary. As for experience, I've had two cats in Generations before this. Um both started in Flurryclan XD Usually when I pick something I stick with it because it's familiar, but I'm stepping out of my comfort zone in favor of something new! So my previous cats are Iceshatter (lived out life in fc) and Renegade-Reverie (moved to Pyrothys). (holy yap) ⭒☆ ❝ To our hearts' content, fa la la la la la ❞ ☆⭒ (+) Sweet, empathetic, selfless, balanced (=) Anxious, quiet, cautious, full of conviction (-) Volatile, delusional, dishonest, ignorant Nebby is a generally quiet but kind cat, though they're bound to change randomly if they're set off somehow. They also hate being wrong, and will devote themselves to a belief completely, refusing any reasonable opposition because in their mind if they believe it then it must be true. They'll lie to themselves and others to maintain whatever idea this is. Despite their flaws, if you get close to their heart, there you'll stay forever. For better or for worse. Having schizophrenia may make them paranoid but it doesn't change their naturally sweet nature or rule their personality. They'll offer help to those they see as needing it, and offer a listening ear to those who just need to feel heard. ⭒☆ ❝ Fly away my friend, for a day and then ❞ ☆⭒ CURLY FUR: Curly fur in a cat is caused by a specific, spontaneous genetic mutation, which can either appear randomly or be passed down from parents. Curly fur is more prone to tangles, matting and dandruff build-up, making baths more necessary and seeing Nebby scratching will be a common occurrence. No significant change in behavior is observed between cats with curly fur and cats without. SCHIZOPHRENIA: Schizophrenia is a chronic brain disorder which causes the affected individual to experience frequent disconnections from reality, as they often experience hallucinations, delusions, and have trouble with thinking and speaking. Symptoms often do not appear until late adolescence or adulthood (I'll be following this in-rp). Having this disorder would influence the affected's train of thought and perception, and they might struggle with saying what they want to, taking care of themselves, concentrating, and keeping up motivation. This might cause them to withdraw from social activities and be isolated. Schizophrenia is known to worsen at night due to messed-up sleeping patterns, and different levels of dopamine and stress. Falling asleep can be especially difficult. While schizophrenia can't "go away," with proper treatment and a good support system, it can get better and more manageable. I'm not going to be excessive with Nebby's schizophrenic "episodes," though as it IS a chronic illness, they'll sort of have frequent, small hallucinations as the condition develops. Some things they'll get used to and won't even acknowledge anymore, but sometimes it'll be really scary for them. That's why it would be a good idea for them to make friends early on so they don't have to face it alone. Let me know if you need more research! ⭒☆
(ran out of space ;-;) ❝ We'll begin again, fa la la la la la ❞ ☆⭒ Let me take a moment to praise the design again XD I always loved stars and that blue-graypurple-gray color, and I love that sunny yellow contrast, it's such a small but clever little design quirk. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all this! I do hope to get this one, but if I don't, I hope whoever does has an amazing time roleplaying this little bean :3 and if someone else gets this kit they can use this art (with credit) I'm gonna have Nebby be really connected with water and nature and it's gonna be their comfort :> ⭒☆ Design by @GalaxyDragonStar Art by me Thank you!! ____________more research-- Schizophrenic episodes happen when symptoms like hallucinations and delusions are very active. They can last days, weeks, or even months, and are triggered by a number of things, such as: stress, loss, and lack of sleep. During such an episode, the individual may start to see, hear, smell, feel, or even taste things that aren't actually there. The most common kind of hallucination during an episode is auditory, meaning they might hear voices nobody else can hear, even if no one is around. These voices can say all sorts of things, be it good or bad, and the individual may even talk back to the perceived voice. They may also feel paranoia and intense fear and mistrust of their surroundings and other cats around them, and have trouble getting their thoughts in order. They might also experience delusions, which is falsely believing something despite evidence to the contrary. They may also lose their interest in work, hobbies, and relationships, becoming withdrawn from society. They could even become depressed or have severe mood swings, and have trouble empathizing or feeling anything.
