well, as you may have figured out by new, scratch just rolled out a new tos a couple days ago which, among other things, gives them permission to feed our hard work into ai. i am strongly anti gen-ai. not only does it steal hard work from creators and regurgitate it into awful slop barely reminiciant of the creativity put into the orginal works of art, but it is also horrible for the enviorment and is a threat to our climate. now, what does this mean for me? first of all, i will NOT be leaving. i dont have any other sites rn and there are some good people on this site that i would not like to leave behind. but i probably won't post art as much, let alone post anything as much. the dastardly 6 is currently on hiatus, i don't think this'll change much since the next installment (remember: lightning is one of nature's leading killers) is going to take a while to come out, as i've only finished the script. tka is defently not going to be posted on this here. i don't want it to get stolen by ai, and it covers topics that i don't think would be able to pass on the site. (the comic's premise is abt human experimentation :skull:) i dont know where it would be posted, and i think it would be better keeping it a personal project for me now. anyways, this whole thing is stupid and i hope scratch team realized they made a mistake. i know st probably didnt do this entirely by themselves, but that doesnt matter. i don't care if anyone has "good intentions". at the end of the day, it's all the same. be more careful next time.
