It's just an entry in Hart's contest <3 Yes, I did make this in 2 hours :') to the judges- judge me more on storytelling and songwriting as my vocals in this song were not very good lol I wrote 'Goodbye' about a fictional loss, exploring what it feels like to say goodbye to someone who only exists in your memory rather than in the present. I tried to focus on moments, symbolic details, and the idea of carrying someone with you through life, using repetition and imagery to reflect grief, acceptance, and the question of whether goodbyes are ever final.
