One, to address my previous messages (which are inside the project if you want to see), I never said scratch HAD the ai tracking bot thing, I used yt's case as an example of what the state verification thing could lead to. I'm sorry if I miscommunicated that T-T" Although if it ever DOES get to that point, I will reiterate my advice of DO NOT let it scan your face and DO NOT give it anyone's government ID. Again to clarify, SCRATCH DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE THIS, YOUTUBE DOES! Second, it has come to my attention that the ai will most likely be scanning and learning from the /code/ rather than the art, and there shouldn't be any generative ai coming any time soon (geez I hope not lol). This unfortunately doesnt really make me feel any more at ease with posting my art on here... I'm not really sure what I'm going to do yet lol. Still have a weird feeling about it.. OH ALSO ONE MORE THING- Dont get mad at scratch for having to do the state verification thing in the US, it's not their fault!! They MUST abide by the laws, and that is in fact one of them! Kids online safety laws vary from state to state, so they need to figure out which users should have which laws applied to them. I am not advising for, or against putting your real state. I am just stating facts for you guys. Please don't get mad at the ST, at least not for that part!! It's not their fault :')) ----- Now I have already started unsharing/deleting some of my projects (some of which needed to be cleaned up anyways xD), and archiving the art that was in them. I will probably continue to do that, and will continue to heavily watermark any art I do share, which will probably be MUCH less frequent, if at all.
