in case you havent heard: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269751874 (^^^PLEASE SPREAD THIS PROJECT AROUND TO ANY ARTISTS YOU KNOW!) this sucks. i dont know what i'm going to do. i might just slap on some semi-transparent watermarks on my older art and call it a day. i dont know. but i wont be posting projects at all anymore. i know i said i left scratch before and that didnt hold up (i kept using my profile comments as a blog haha), but at this point im going to stop posting projects entirely and im gonna try to move this profile-comments-liveblogging thing somewhere else. because this is just unacceptable. how am i supposed to feel safe on scratch knowing my art and writing will be used for environment destroying machines? if youre an artist or a writer or a creative in any form, i strongly urge you to move to another platform. scratch is not the only kids coding site, nor is the only social media for kids out there. i may update this later with some alternatives if i find them. for now, though i'm not sure about the target demographic, i know of these art sites: cara purelyhuman dot xyz sheezy dot art try NOT to use DA, because it also has an ai problem. i think pixilart is mostly safe? but dont quote me on that coding sites: tynker turbowarp make-your-own-site sites: neocities strawpage remember to keep your art off of scratch, stay genuine, and stay safe.
