NOTE!!! NO HATE IS MEANT. I JUST MEAN TO INFORM AND CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG ABOUT ANY OF THIS. THIS IS MEANT TO BE A OBJECTIVE SUMMARY. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey, Update. It's not that bad, Scratch is not making a generative AI, so, our art will still be safe, for now. AI will not train off of art yet. Ends up, AI was just being used to moderate and help out with community related things, I think. Remember Age Verification in Roblox? Well, AI has entered scratch. In scratch's new TOS, we must allow our content to train AI. This means art, but IDK for music. We also may be watched and tracked. Plus, if your location is the US, you now must give a more specific location, your state. Deleting your account does not remove all personal information. ST also said that security is not guaranteed. Do not argue in the comments, if I see anger, I will close the comments. This is meant as a peaceful informing and made as objective and non-opinionated as possible. Please keep your opinions as calm as possible and be respectful. The thing is, we don't know what ST is doing with the AI, and it could potentially be harmful. Plus, this means to many artists that there is not much point of drawing and working anymore. Many also feel unsafe about having their work protected, which kind of makes sense. It's like training your life for something just to find you've been replaced- by something better and unbeatable, in every way. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate scratch or AI. I also will try to keep my opinions as respectful. My advice: Be extra careful, don't give anyone emails, use watermarking on art to prevent stealing. If this goes too far, I advise you to share way less projects and DO NOT post art, if AI somehow gets through the watermarks. If I share my opinions, I will try to do it in the most polite way possible. Stay Safe and Be Alert! - Yunja @Lostlark- Liked and Faved! Watermarking idea from @GirlInAHoodie. Ai gems are good, no slop though. Y'all need to chill- this isn't that bad.
