Yeah, so I don't think I need to explain what's happening. Everyone probably knows at this point: Scratch basically just admitted to using our content to train its AIs. I apologize in advance if I sound dumb- I'm crying and I don't know what to do- Anyways, so many people are being affected by this. I hate it. I hate it all. Scratch is the only place I have to go. Due to my parents, I'm not allowed anywhere else online to interact. My real life friends, they're great, but I feel like I can't really show them anything I make outside of school or come to them about anything, since that's my role. I'm the one who always tries to help my friends before myself. I think I might still try to post. But, I'll be adding anti-AI filters to anything I draw. Check out the links in the credits for some users who posted filters for us to use, that's what I'll be doing. If you can't avoid 'em, mess with them until they break. Who knows, maybe if we all start posting a lot with these filters, maybe it'll actually work. I'm setting my PFP to the default until I make a new one that'll hopefully be psychedelic enough to confuse AI. Oh, and feel free to rant all you guys want in the comments, if you wish. I'm a good listener, I like to think.
Update: scratch isn't doing image generation, so the part underneath this is no longer valid. USE THESE OVER YOUR ART TO POISON THE AI, THANKS TO @logancoaster FOR POSTING THIS: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269814988 WE CAN FIGHT THIS. I'M NOT GIVING UP. I CAN'T. THIS DARN WEBSITE MEANS TOO MUCH TO ME. Watermarks, too! HEAVY ones. Over the ENTIRE image. Update: I sent an e-mail to Scratch. Hopefully someone replies. I'll post their response once it arrives.
