So apparently, scratch decided to to do a really dumb decision in their new TOS. What is that decision? It's so that they can take peoples art and music they upload on scratch and train AI using it... Like BRO, no one deserves to have their work stolen so AI can make cheap soulless versions of it. Now don't worry, I won't be leaving scratch. And all my projects I am working on will still be worked on. But still. This is honestly baffling. But I believe we can prevent this if we make our voices heard. If you want to leave scratch because of this, go ahead. The more we tell company's we don't want AI, there is a higher chance that they will stop with it.
I first found this information because of Crunch and Amex's projects saying they were leaving scratch. So i wanted to say something about this myself.
