have you seen age of ultron? ultron is this giant robot that is ai, built by tony stark. ultron is the villain of the movie and is pretty much evil. i have to talk about this because ai is coming to scratch. ----- ai is being added to scratch soon. this is really bad for all artists and younger scratchers. this site is a creative site made to help people learn how to code. it is fun, easy to understand, and it lets people use their imagination and learn stuff along the way. but the ai that scratch is going to add is going to be bad for everyone for many reasons. ---- first, if you're an artist (like me) the ai could go to a project with your art on it, take in all the information about your art, then have the ability to fool everyone that your art is their art. its really bad. so far we don't have anything we can do, but just make a project about this ai and add it to a bunch of studios. as long as people are seeing the project, it will help the scratch community. ---- second, this is a kids site! it is for young kids to come on here to learn how coding works, and it is to help them unleash their creativity! by adding ai, this will not help them at all. it will just know the answer to everything, and it can just be bad in general. to kids: assuming you have chatgpt or gemini or other ai tools, don't use it to find the answer to your math homework. use your frickin brain. that's why you have one! don't end up like the humans in wall-e. ------ third, scratch, if you don't get rid of the ai, many scratchers will stop using scratch and leave. this is bad for the site in general, and people outside of scratch will see it as a bad website, and decide not to use it. just please dont add the ai. ------ in conclusion, the ai is bad. i will remain on scratch, but if the ai is not removed and I start seeing ai stuff on scratch, I will post a project showing that I am leaving scratch and that I love you all. to everyone else: spread the word, add this project to as many studios as you can, and make projects talking about it. thank you for reading all of this. -@EEViennaH
