That's the sole purpose of scratch. Now you wanna replace that definition cause you wanna add GENERATIVE AI to your website? This site has been active since 2003 that's a good 20 YEARS. I understand technology has gotten advanced, and that you'd wanna test it out. But this type of "advanced technology" will ruin your website, and this generation. You shouldn't be feeding our work to a bot..to TRAIN THEM. You shouldn't be training AI first of all, we know that will not end well. It gets to the point where you can't even tell which is real and generated. Soon enough, our future will be generated, and you're advocating for that? Kids who actually want to use your website for its purpose will soon not even have a reason to be on if some soulless bot will do it for them. You might not think much of it, but you're gonna raise a generation who thinks they wont need to DIY or do anything cause well..you have someone who can do it for you! Do not take our hard work and feed it into a bot to "train it" We spend more time than you think on your website, kids and some adults even! This singular website has carried kids from the beginning to now, 20 YEARS mind you. Kids who have started coding on this site now have lives, you raise these people. But you're adding something that could potentially make it worse?? Give it a rest. There are better things to worry about, ahem YOUR MODERATION. The Spammers, Trolls, Doxxers, Harassers on your site still roam free. Yet, Instead of taking care of that, you prefer to make your site worse! If you're gonna make your website 8-up make it SAFE, kids shouldn't be getting sent death threats on a website like this! You should be more worried about the bad people on this website who still walk around harming others. Instead of adding genAI to your website, fix all the current issues, stop making more issues for your website. We've been asking for help from your team for a while. We barely see any changes, as if you're ignoring us then acting all petty when we speak up about it. Scratch, you need to do better. You need to start listening to us, WE give you dollar bills for just being on here, the least you could do is open your ear and actually listen to us. + Fix your damn moderation, protect the kids on your website. Resolve the issues in the past, and maybe newcomers will enjoy your website. Cloudy out.
