oh and also I don't want to stir things up, its not the end of the world guys lol Hi guys, I’m sure you’ve heard the news… Scratch now allows third party websites to train off the art of people on scratch. This is super sad, some of my favorite animators are leaving, and its chaos lol.. I want to protect my work, and you guys should too. I’m sure scratch only wants the best for us artist folk, but honestly, I am not sure of their intentions. All I see is the AI training statement in the TOS. It’s probably not the end of the world, but for now, I will unshare most of my projects, and the ones I leave up will be watermarked heavily. I’m staying here for now, though, it'll probably be alright! Take it from me, lil buddies- don't worry- you can unshare your art, and remove it off scratch, at least for now. But I hope this situation gets figured out soon. I hope scratch team sees everyone's opinions, and allows up to opt-out. Love ya guys - swee :] I’ll be on active on UnVale for now also! I’ll link the account sometime :]
also, if you are looking for a definite explanation on the situation, look at @CupieMaster’s project <3 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269751874 (Also at @CatTheLoaf’s project)
