I shouldn't have to say this, but KEEP THE DISCUSSIONS CIVIL. All of you. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions on whether AI is a good or a bad thing. And I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. But some of you are getting a little close to flame war territory in the comments (and I mean people on BOTH sides of the argument, not just the pro-AI users). Keep it civil or the comments are getting turned off. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I genuinely don't know how much longer I'll be staying on this site anymore. The new AI integration goes against everything Scratch used to be about. This is crossing a line, and we are not happy about this. The site has already been going downhill for months - possibly even years, with our complaints going unnoticed. Their moderation system falsely taking down hundreds of comments and projects. The refusal to fix basic features like trending and cloud variables. And meanwhile, adding feature after feature that barely anyone asked for - while Scratch 4.0 STILL hasn't been released yet. But this... adding A.I. integration into the site? Letting it scrape our artwork? Letting it determine your age? I guarantee you all have seen the projects protesting this. It's only been a little over 24 hours since the discussions started, and there are already DOZENS of these projects. And this is just from the people who felt the need to make a concrete project - there are hundreds more Scratchers voicing their opinions on the comment sections and discussion pages. And also - people have already begun figuring out platforms to switch to, or ways to protest against these changes. There are other sites to post our animations to, our games to, our art to. There are filters we can use to protect our art. Scratch Team, if you are actually reading this - you have already made enough changes to your site without listening to what us Scratchers actually want. Take these projects, this protesting, as a warning - something needs to change for the better. We are getting fed up of it. All art and music done by me. 0 artificial intelligence used.
