Hey guys. I would put a thumbnail, but let's be real it would probably get stolen. To put it simply, this sucks. I, along with many others, really sincerely thought that Scratch would be better than this. I am so strongly against generative AI that this physically disgusts me to see happen. Tubbo is so right about this whole topic. (I'd say watch the video, but tbh there's probably swearing. So just trust me on this, okay?) ‼️I've unshared a lot of my projects--pretty much anything that is purely art-based, so that the AI can't steal it. Y'ALL SHOULD DO THE SAME!! PROTECT YOURSELVES AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL ART!!‼️ I will continue to post art here, but it'll all be with those AI-protection filters on them (see: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269814988/ & https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269895095/). If you want to continue to share your art as well, either because you like this community specifically or you don't have anywhere else to put it, use one of these. Let's hope it helps. I know this whole thing isn't ST's fault, but still... couldn't someone have done something to prevent this? I'm disappointed. Not specifically with Scratch, but with the world for making this "normal." Artists are getting fired all around the world because of AI. Genuinely upset. Very irritated.
