(Sorry for the spelling errors, im really annoyed and I need to rant quickly) I'll just say it, I hate AI. If you didn't know, Scratch recently just added to it's TOS that it can scrape your artwork for AI I am someone who detests AI, and as an artist, many people here would agree. We do not want our art and voices and everything else to be stolen by theives for AI. Not only is AI mass theift, but it also does a lot of bad things. For instance, it uses a lot of drinkable water, a lot of electricity, give people headaches from noise pollution, and has raised RAM and other computer parts by over 400%. It is basically an economic bubble if you look at where the money's going, and scratch does NOT need to be in on this There is no way to opt out of this, and I know this probably won't do anything like it did on the youtube, but we need to show that we detest this. AI is a poison which also spreads misinformation for a quick buck. I would bring up more reasons why AI is the worst but it would take too long. Therefore, I suggest you share this project and other projects like it about, or change your profile picture to something showing you hate AI too. I chose to transform Spearmaster, the character in my pfp, into clippy, as the same was done on youtube when they introduced ai aye ge vertification. (I just don't want scratch to falsely think I'm talking about personal details) Mine was already here from when I changed it there. You can also change yours to a no ai one or the like. in anyway, just show your hate for AI Do better, Scratch. This was clearly a decision made by out of touch executives, who just want the money. Please revert it however you can I hate AI, and so should you. Spread the word. I'm going on pesudo hiatus for the next month or until scratch does something, where I'm gonna be working in the background, but I'm not gonna interact with projects other than my own (for responding to comments) and not posting. Basically, your're not gonna get those weekly updates. You don't have to do anything if ya don't want Also, I'm changing my mind, I'm gonna be gone off here for a week now. As in, from the 24th to the 30th, inclusive, I'm going to be gone, not logged in at all. From Jan 24 to Feb 24, I'm just going to be repling to comments and working on code, but not releasing anything. This does mean that, today, on the 23h, I will be replying to comments, etc. I will be gone at 12 greenwich mean time I know that this will likely not do anything, and not matter. I just want the execs to see that a bunch of people are boycotting scratch and every other project is hating on this AI art, and I am a part of that.
