Didn't even get to celebrate 6 years before the platform got ruined. What a surprise. Seeing as I prefer not for my projects to be scraped to train AI, I'm taking my business elsewhere. Not the grand farewell I was hoping for, but whatever. I'll always appreciate everything Scratch gave to me. Some of my longest lasting friends I met on this very site. I wish it was easy to keep going, but when all they're doing is making the site impossible to be on, with the crappy moderation, the AI training, the report system, I just don't think it's really worth it anymore. I'm not giving up on game development, I'm giving up on the one restraint that's been holding me back from making something actually good. Something that won't be overshadowed by unoriginal, cut-and-paste platformers. I've also just.. outgrown the site, and I'm done trying to gain a following on this platform.
