Transcript: Why are our projects being used to train AI? That's a question many Scratchers have been asking, and unfortunately, I do not have the answer. I've been using Scratch for years. I always loved the aspect of sharing your original creations with others. Being able to share something you spent time on, something you're proud of. I honestly never thought anything like this would happen to Scratch. The Scratch Team knows that there are whole communities of artists, musicians, etc. who use Scratch. AI has already ruined so many things, and now it's ruining a website built for kids! It's disappointing to see Scratch stoop this low. They're wasting the creativity, imagination, and time, of so many Scratchers. We're not just generating art, music, code, etc. for our projects, and we don't want our projects to be used to train something that will destroy the creative side of humans. Scratch should know that we are unhappy with this. I know many people will probably leave Scratch because of this AI training slop, and rightly so. We should not have to be worried about AI essentially stealing our imagination. #protest #againstAI
8. User Content 2. Limited License Grant.
