Recently I have agreed to Scratch's new ToS, not realizing that I had accidentally agreed to have my art used to train their AI models. A short while after agreeing to their ToS, I had seen the rants and posts about it, and after reading them, I was left genuinely angered, disgusted, and disappointed with Scratch. Agreeing to their ToS means that you agreed to an IRRIVERSIBLE, PERMANENT, contract that says you consent to YOUR work being used to train their AI models. We cannot do anything about this, we are not in control, and I know this fact angers me and the rest of the art community on Scratch. This is outrageous. A lot of artists have left Scratch due to this using their final straw. As much as I want to leave too, I'm weighed down by the fact that Scratch is my only way of communicating with the world. I have not much other choice than to suck it up and continue normal uploading. Whether I like it or not, Scratch is feeding the work of millions, including mine, to AI, and there's nothing we can do about it now. I know that I'm giving up this quickly, but we're not the ones in control. It's the sad reality.
I will continue to upload my art as usual, as unfortunately I do not have any other platforms to share it on at the moment. music: Childishly fresh eyes(The Caretaker)
