Yippee Purge! This picture includes Wispy, bubble, (Two of my OCs) and Nosleep, (@Violetlight2014's main OC.) plus a couple of random creatures and characters I added cause I wanted to, and is meant to protest against the new Scratch ToS. I know many people are leaving Scratch because of the AI usage here, and while AI may have its perks, in my opinion, and I'm sure in many others, its negatives outweigh its positives. I understand that Scratch may not be using AI in the ways that a lot of us may have originally thought, (More info here: scratch.mit.edu/projects/1270291994) but the fact that they're using it at all is just a bad idea. They claim they are using it as a creative tool for beginners and anyone who needs it, and I don't doubt that. However, they are allowing people access to using AI to help solve their problems, and eventually, Scratchers may eventually become lazy and start letting AI do everything for them. I've seen in many map calls, DTAs, and OTAs that the hosts don't want their participants using AI, and if they feel stuck, they might turn to this creative tool to help them, paying no mind to the fact that they may be breaking that "No AI" rule the creator put there. Also, I know that many people have negative personal ties to AI, and not just people on Scratch. People around the world are losing their jobs to AI, artists are having their art stolen (I've seen plenty of AI generated images with watermarks on them) and I've heard stories on the news, the radio, and similar spots about people either being tricked by AI chatbots, had negative things being said to their faces by them, or just being in horrible relationships with them. This is why I encourage you to stay far away from AI, and try not to give in. I hope that this has opened your eyes to, or reminded you of some of the major problems tied to AI.
