Hey guys, I know there’s been a lot of stuff going on lately about ai, so, I wanna talk about it. So, the scratch team recently updated the web with ai. I don’t want to spread any misinformation, so please, if you see smth on here that isn’t true, pls inform me and I’ll fix it. The scratch team is currently using ppl’s art to train ai models (yes, without consent) and it is MESSED UP. They should at least ask if they’re gonna train their ais with OUR art that we worked hard to make. It is causing a very big bad impact on good artists and coders, making them want to leave/quit scratch, or worse. But one thing I will say is that we will NOT tolerate this. Guys, keep drawing, keep doing art, keep coding, don’t let ai discourage you. It’s gonna be ok. We will fight for our happiness. And yes, I won’t be posting too much anymore, but I still will post here and there so yeah.
