With the Zora armor, I was able to ascend the waterfalls flowing out of Vah Ruta with ease, successfully targeting the pink, malice-infested orbs every time. Once the pink orbs were dealt with, Vah Ruta began to significantly slow down its water flow, which made it safe enough for Sidon to send me up to the entrance of the Divine Beast. “Well, Link, here we are. There was a massive Sheikah pedestal, larger than any I’ve seen so far, located in the middle. The final key to free the Divine Beast. But when I placed the Sheikah Slate onto it, something went wrong. The pedestal burst with malice, and I instinctively backed off as the malice blocked the pedestal from activating. And when I turned around, beams of Sheikah technology from the pedestal had condensed, and it began to shape out a malicious being, one that did not want me freeing the Divine Beast. Waterblight Ganon. It let out a ferocious roar, and it held its Sheikah spear as it looked at me. “Please take care. That… thing is one of Ganon’s creations. I tried my best to fight it, but it became my demise a century ago…” … “I know you can do it, my friend. It’s okay to be scared. I’m here.” “...Thank you, Mipha.” … Waterblight Ganon was a ferocious being, a powerful creature. It wouldn’t be easy for me to deal significant damage to it; it would not give me a good opportunity to do so. Dodging the being’s attacks would also not be easy; he had an extraordinarily long reach with his spear, and it was hard to get close. Still, I needed to figure out something. I clearly needed to do something to stun him; only then would it be safe for me to make any serious attack. My Cryonis would help, especially with the being’s ice crystals; I could use them against it. The being lashed out at me fiercely, but I was ready. I was able to easily break its ice crystals with my Cryonis, using them as a way to stun, which gave me a huge opening to attack back. I then conveniently remembered I still had a few shock arrows from my quiver I could use; there wasn’t much left, but it was something.
