I hoped this day wouldn't come, but it has. I'm officially leaving Scratch. As of today, I will not be sharing any new projects here. I'm sorry, but this is how it has to be. Scratch has just updated their terms of service. In these terms, they explain that ANYTHING you post to the site can (and likely will) be used to train A.I. models. There is NO WAY to opt out. As an artist, I'm horffifed. A.I. is the greatest disrespect to the people like us, and I won't allow my hard work to train a soulless, stealing, slop creating machine. I've been here since I was young, it and breaks my heart to see the path that Scratch is taking. But again, I can't be a part of it. Please, if you share my feelings, reach out to Scratch Team. Tell them this is unacceptable. This place is where I found my love for art, writing, and coding. It's been a fun ride, but until Scratch promises they won't train A.I. with my work, I am gone. So what does this really mean? Well, I won't be uploading any new projects. My more original works have also been taken down and will not come back. Scralaxy and other collabs will stay for the time being, but I cannot continue to develop them. Sorry. Messages will still be checked freqeuntly though. Goodbye, everyone. You can also find me on YT, just FYI.
Please read this for more information. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269751874 Sorry everyone.
