I am aware the scratch team did not make this decision. when I say "Scratch" I mean the actual developers, creators, whoever was behind the update. I doubt I can say anything that hasn't been said yet about this, but I think it's important anyway. Scratch just put out an update adding AI and letting it freely copy from artists without consent or being told. This update is going to SUCK. Artists makes up a good chunk of Scratch's users. And a lot of those artists are quite young. It's frankley not fair to the kids on your website, Scratch. They don't know the impacts this will do. AI can make anything in seconds, this could affect the future of kids who want to make art for a living in multiple ways. Not to mention how much water AI wastes. Scratch is supposed to be about creativity. People have already left the platform. [WIP BIO]
