Right before my 5 year scratch anniversary the whole site implodes -_- JUST TO CLARIFY IF YOU'VE SEEN THE NEWS: yeah, scratch's terms of service has updated to make anyone on scratch authorized to use your ART to TRAIN AI MODELS. What this means is that someone (anyone with a scratch account, i presume) can legally take your art and put it into a generative ai model to train it on your specific style. Let's say someone takes my profile picture and some of my game sprites into ChatGPT and tells it to copy my exact style of drawing. That is now allowed. Now, PLEASE do not overreact. Most people will probably never see this in action. The only scenario I can see this stuff occurring is with REALLY FAMOUS SCRATCHERS with thousands of followers who might really like their art style, but with users like me with only a few dozen followers should probably be fine. Please don't freak out and delete all of your art or something, It really isn't that big of a deal. - theoriginaljellybean
