How much stealing has been done on this website is alot. IDK how they are gonna do my sprites/costumes especially because I've been doing them but like that is gonna be a problem because it seems like Scratch is taking a wrong route with not saying they are training this with our art or put it on ai generator- I have no words. I reckon if you have some sprites or characters you don't want anyone stealing them put them in a different website, for vectors I will use turbowarp or such. Noted this is the wrong direction they are taking, I'm just here trying to live my life here- Either everything they said in the AI (TOS) response is 1. wrong, or 2. there taking every criticism with a grain of salt. (I'm going with the second option) I'm not actually that happy like I am not happy if people's art get stolen. (They might have changed it where it doesn't get our costumes I mean they haven't released it yeah so I can't tell) I do have some hope tho that the data from this would get would be the people that opt-ed in for this. (tHat's A SmAll PeRCEnTAGe iF yoU asK mE) Me personally I love you guys so much I'm not gonna opt-in for this. I'm personally against ai, but I want to at least have an ai that is a least ethical yk. I am about to take college to directly fight against the bad parts of ai, however things need to be done. That's all the news said, heading out. Edit: In my last response I do know people can credit and attrutibition still does apply but what I am saying is if someone doesn't know exactly why or just in purpose uses Ai to get sprites and credit them like nothing, that is a real difference there Also as far as I'm aware no the ai image generation is not coming, that is rejected but think about it as more of an internal library with everyone's sprites on the line, regardless if they will be credited or not Another Edit (1/26): The scratch foundation did this not the scratch team, in fact the TEAM weren't notified to do this. That's why I don't think scratch team wrote the TOS response, THE FOUNDATION DID. I'm not mad at the ST, who I'm mad about is the higher ups. The best way to actually protest, will be the contact us as that directly goes to the higher ups. I am not kidding when I say this. The higher ups don't care if you boycott this website, but if you want to, that's fine. ST is also learning and helping us put with some of our complaints, rarely I see the ai posts ever getting taking down, and one is even trying to pass the ai opt in opt out suggestion to the higher ups! You heard that right, there is hope for us still. Still this came after everyone did there own thing... :( I am still angry at the foundation tho I hope this update helps.
