If we peacefully protest this new addition to the website, the team might listen to us. I suggest we boycott. We pick a week where nobody gets online. Nobody posts, nobody comments, just dead silence from the entire scratch community. Spread the word, post projects, let the CEO know how against the new terms of service we are. At least convince them to add an opt out option. (Also!! This is not an incentive to be rude and disrespectful to the scratch team. Ida’s Speech: I’m doing this for my fellow artists, so they don’t have to fear their art being used for purposes they’re not ok with… For Cinna! And Deli! And everyone else taking a stand! Remix this project! Spread the word! WE are Scratch, and we say NO MORE AI!!! I have seen too many projects where artists have simply SNAPPED. This is more than it looks at first glance. This is a real threat to the well-being of many of our talented artists… It is not INTENDED to make us feel this way. But it does anyway. And the team must know. So remix this project, or simply tell everyone what needs to be done. For a better Scratch for ALL of us! Starting February the 1st, we hiatus. On Feb 7th, we return, to what Scratch was, or at least better than we are now. If you won’t join me, I’ll go alone. No pressure, but please help me, US, make this a reality Tysm, Ida
