So,,, I’m leaving scratch, most likely permanently and I have 4 main reasons for this 1. Scratch itself, Now the coding community in scratch has always been a bunch of 8 year olds, a handful of teens and a very limited amount of adults, the thing is the 8 year olds basically worship the adults and make remix’s of their games and just retexture them, meanwhile the teens are trying to figure out how to make a working AI’s and yea, no one appreciates it and stuff 2. I have a second account, Now this account is one I prefer to keep hidden as it is an art account - not coding, also it will mess with my online friend groups, I won’t give too much info as I don’t want to be found. 3. Scratch recently, Now scratch has kind of a plagiarism problem, like you have people discovering the backpack before lists, it’s that bad, I’ve seen people make moon platformer (just a generic platformer but retextured and has a higher jump height) 2 DAYS after making an account, the thing is when you look inside you see a whole bunch of Japanese and they are like ‘I speak Japanese at home’ like bro it’s obvious that you just took the 1st platformer that you saw from trending, 4. My project For like a year or 2 now I have been working on this AWSOME boss fight game, don’t get me wrong, it’s nearly done, but, now I realize that it’s basically horrible, so yeah, everything I’ve worked towards is gone, so goodbye, I’m gone,
