If you haven’t heard, there’s a Scratch boycott that’s coming up (Feb 1st-7th). Where no one will post, comment, be online, ANYTHING. And the idea is great, our voices deserve to be heard, and I’ll take any attempt we can at it. So I’ll be participating. But I’m mostly here to provide a bit of a note. I’m gonna be a party pooper here with this, I apologize- I’m just a bit apathetic aha- but there’ll be a good message at the end!!! Don’t get your hopes up. It may work, it may not. I have seen many a time over my years here where the ST just DOESNT listen. There’s been times they just don’t care or have some crazy reasoning to reject our protests. So basically, just don’t get excited that the boycott will work. HOWEVER!!! If you’re planning to boycott? YES. Keep your plan!!! Let your voice be known. If you’re from the US, then remember the first amendment is freedom of speech. USE THAT. Do the boycott, just to try. But be realistic and remember it’s really a 50/50 here honestly. But try anyway for the hope of a better day.
