aaaand this is why you read the terms and services, kids. before you @ me. yes i know it's not going to be an AI image generator so they're not scraping our content for THAT. but i don't like how many ... openings they're leaving in the TOS, nor do I like the lack of opt out on a literal children's website. i STILL don't like the AI because this is a kid's website where the entire point is learning and despite what they say i still feel this AI is undercutting quite a few important steps (mainly learning to debug things INDEPENDENTLY or asking other people for help) (says the person who never asks other people for help) plus the environmental costs of training and using generative AI like this, but the genAI alone isn't going kick me off this site otherwise I'd be boycotting the Entire Internet and i'm too chronically online to do that. HOWEVER. I've already been ghosting this website for a while now and i'd rather NOT have my stuff be ready for AI training at a moment's notice if i can help it + all the users that I grew up with are leaving because of this too So yeah, i'm leaving. As for that one project I teased on this website several months ago: it's a really big project and not one I'd like to leave at the mercy of anyone who is remotely interested in stuffing it into AI. so that's going offsite too. however this also means I have to figure out how to code projects like this outside of scratch which is going to add several more months to development time and because of this i also have no idea where i'm going to be posting this. for the 6 of you interested in where I will be posting my art. it rhymes with fumbler and is 13+. if you want to see around the same content i post here, the user is rng-purrgatory. it's not my main but i post wildly different things on my main anyway. once again, bye guys. it was nice knowing this website.
